Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on heavy foundation and construction equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues. Respond to emergency field repairs to minimize equipment downtime. Support field crews with on-site troubleshooting and technical expertise. Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory. Work closely with operations and project teams to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently. This role supports major infrastructure and foundation projects throughout the Lower Mainland.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction or foundation equipment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, and onboard diagnostics
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Field position supporting projects across the Greater Vancouver region
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal certification
- Experience with BAUER & Klemn foundation equipment
