Job Summary
Operate, repair, rebuild, and perform maintenance on heavy-duty diesel trucks and rolling stock to ensure safe operation. Conduct daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on diesel refuse trucks. Repair hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and PTO systems while performing preventative maintenance to keep fleet vehicles ready for daily operation. Start at $27-$35/hr with overtime after 40 hours worked; shifts include 4:30am-2pm or 11:30am-9pm M-F.
