Job Summary
Diagnose and repair operational difficulties with heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment, maintaining and fixing diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated vehicles. Plan and schedule repairs in M5 planner, procure parts, and complete daily reports and work orders. Utilize power and hand tools while ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with all regulations. Maintain a clean work area and assist in training new employees. Starting pay is up to $30/hr with a sign-on bonus structure of $500 upon hire, $1,000 after six months, and $1,000 after one year. Two shift options are available: 430am-2pm or 1130am-9pm, both with overtime after 40 hours. Benefits include 15 days of paid time off, quarterly tool allowance, annual boot reimbursement, and health coverage after 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Technical diploma
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a diesel mechanic
- Must be computer literate
- Must have the ability to be trained on software systems
- Must have the willingness to learn
- Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with others

- Ability to understand and effectively use repair and parts manuals written in English
