Job Summary
Diagnose and repair operational difficulties with heavy duty trucks and equipment, including oilfield trucks, tractor trailers, and tanker vehicles. Maintain and repair diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated vehicles while completing daily reports, work orders, and parts procurement in M5 planner. Plan and schedule repairs, review mechanical write-ups, and ensure safe working conditions by utilizing power and hand tools. Maintain a clean work area and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies. Assist in training new employees and keep up with the latest technology through technical manuals and training seminars.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years experience as a heavy-duty truck mechanic
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to be trained on software systems
- Must have the willingness to learn
- Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
- Must have valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, taste, and smell
- Must have continuous concentrated mental and visual attention
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Must have physical ability to perform all aspects of job
- Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull up to 100 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using diagnostic software a plus
