Job Summary
Fleet Maintenance Mechanic responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on diesel trucks, trailers, and refrigeration equipment. Emphasizes quality repairs and preventative maintenance over high-volume production; guaranteed hours and team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, fuel, brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems; using diagnostic software (e.g., JPRO, Cummins INSITE, Freightliner & Detroit Diesel tools); performing trailer inspections and repairs; installing/replacing liftgates, reefer units, ramps, and aftermarket equipment; maintaining accurate maintenance records; adhering to DOT and company safety standards; collaborating with team members.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of diesel mechanic experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- CDL is preferred but not required
- PA Inspection License is preferred but not required
