Job Summary
Inspect and repair vehicles, forklifts, cranes, and construction equipment while overseeing maintenance programs for company-owned assets. Diagnose mechanical issues, assemble components, and manage inventory of necessary maintenance products. Collaborate with operators to ensure daily checklists and logs are completed to verify equipment safety and running conditions. Requires advanced mechanical work skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and experience in automotive or equipment fields.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform advanced mechanical work
- Ability to carry or lift 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of working well and contributing to a team environment.
- Able to perform duties which require standing or sitting for long periods of time, bending stooping, and walking for reasonable periods of time.
- Ability to work in varying climates, weather conditions, and surfaces.
- Capable of taking direction and learning new skills to perform assigned tasks.
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in automotive and equipment related fields
- Prior Mechanic Experience
- Basic repair knowledge for various types of vehicles and equipment
- Previous Equipment Operator experience
