Job Summary
Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. Dismantle machines using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices to remove defective parts. Inspect used parts and repair or replace defective components. Install new parts as needed. This day shift role at Up-North Plastics in Cottage Grove, MN requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience with engines or vehicles. On-the-job training is provided with opportunities for advancement and overtime. Starting pay is $26.00.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined
- Experience working on engines/vehicles/machines
