Job Summary
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles, including diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles. Complete required paperwork for repair orders and parts usage, make road calls, and own and maintain the proper hand tools. Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor while possessing the physical strength to safely perform all required tasks. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22.00 to $38.38, with bonuses for ASE certifications and a uniform/boot program. DATTCO serves as New England's largest private passenger transportation company, transporting over 140,000 students across 30 school districts in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
- Minimum of one-year experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
- Mechanical aptitude
- Driver's license
- Possess the physical strength to safely perform all required tasks
