Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance, lubrication, and bearing adjustments on food production equipment while operating power fluid systems and reading electrical schematics. Perform inspections, log work orders, and generate reports to track maintenance history in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations. Utilize hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to escalate service issues as needed. Requires forklift certification, familiarity with hydraulic and refrigeration systems, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required or General Education
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, gas systems, liquid propane, boilers, and refrigeration is strongly preferred
- Experience with human machine interface (HMI) and automation a plus
- Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines
- Basic math skills required
- Forklift Certification required
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Computer
