Job Summary
Mechanic role responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, overhaul and repair of heavy haul vehicles, commercial ready-mix mixer fleets, and heavy earth-moving support equipment across multiple project environments. Maintains fleet safety, performs regular fleet PMs, emergency field support, and ensures FMCSA logs, DOT inspections, brake certifications, and fleet maintenance records are filed. Requires outdoor work, CDL preferred, and ability to work long hours in varied weather; reports to Maintenance Manager and collaborates with Driver Lead. Emphasizes safety culture and compliance; offers competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license, Class A or B CDL preferred
- 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate
- Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Able to lift 100 pounds unassisted
- Adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage
