Job Summary
Mechanic responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, overhaul and repair of heavy haul vehicles, commercial ready-mix mixer fleets, and heavy earth-moving equipment. Performs fleet PMs and emergency field support; ensures safety and compliance with FMCSA/DOT records; maintains drum speeds and performance specs; eliminates financial exposure from breakdowns; coordinates with Driver Lead and Maintenance Manager; expects outdoor work, long hours, and use of PPE; requires High School diploma or equivalent and valid CDL preferred, with 3 years related experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
- 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate
- Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Able to stand long periods, stoop, crawl, bend
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted
- Adhere to safety protocols and PPE usage
