Job Summary
Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, overhaul, and repair heavy haul vehicles, commercial ready-mix mixer fleets, and heavy earth-moving support equipment across multiple project environments. Responsibilities include ensuring delivery trucks operate without breakdowns, performing regular fleet PMs and emergency field support, troubleshooting diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems, maintaining safety and regulatory records (FMCSA logs, DOT inspections, brake certifications, fleet maintenance sheets), and coordinating with the regional Maintenance Manager and Driver Lead. Requires outdoor work, ability to lift 100 pounds, and adherence to PPE and safety protocols. Preferred High School diploma/equivalent and Class A or B CDL; 3 years related experience or mechanics school graduate.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate
- Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
