Job Summary
Mechanic responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, overhaul, and repair of heavy haul vehicles, commercial ready-mix mixer fleets, and heavy earth-moving support equipment across project environments; perform fleet PMs and emergency field support; troubleshoot drum rotation gear drives, water pumps, and hydraulic lines; maintain FMCSA logs and DOT inspection records; coordinate with regional Maintenance Manager and Driver Lead; uphold fleet safety and regulatory compliance; undergo safety trainings and PPE usage; contribute to minimizing downtime and protecting loads through proactive maintenance and repairs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
- 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate
- Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to stand for long periods and move freely including stooping, crawling, bending
- Ability to lift 100 pounds unassisted
- Compliance with PPE and safety protocols
