Job Summary
Mechanic responsible for deploying across multiple project environments to inspect, diagnose, overhaul, and repair heavy haul vehicles, commercial ready-mix mixer fleets, and heavy earth-moving support equipment; performs fleet PMs and emergency field support; ensures safety and regulatory compliance; maintains FMCSA logs, DOT records, brake certifications, and maintenance sheets; reports to regional Maintenance Manager and coordinates with Driver Lead; emphasizes safety culture and environmental health practices.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
- 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate
- Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- They may be required to work long and unpredictable hours
- Must be able to stand for long periods on varied surfaces
- Must be able to move freely, including the ability to stoop, crawl, and bend at the knees and waist
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
