Job Summary
Maintain production and quality of assigned fleet assets by completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Diagnose malfunctions by observing devices, listening for issues, and using precision measuring instruments to determine dimensional changes. Remove defective parts, adjust functional components, and fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment. Control downtime by informing workers of routine techniques and monitoring compliance while maintaining accurate maintenance reports. Manage equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels and expediting orders. Perform other duties as assigned while adhering to safety procedures and ICOMPEL values.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience working with maintaining or repairing diesel and hydraulic systems
- Associate's degree or trade school degree in Construction, Fleet or similar field
- 1 year of experience working with maintaining or repairing diesel and hydraulic systems
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Fleet, or related field
- Ability to live the ICOMPEL Values

- Basic understanding on how to use power tools safely

- Bend, squat, twist, and reach in various positions as the situation dictates.
- Ability to travel to job sites for mechanical support as needed.
