Job Summary
The Mechanic maintains and repairs machinery and engines, performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of large and small engines, and providing information/reports on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role requires at least 2 years of truck/vehicle maintenance experience, welding skills, and a possible bilingual (Spanish/English) capability. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in diverse weather, able to operate landscaping equipment, and able to lift up to 50 pounds; a valid driver’s license is required for those operating BrightView fleet vehicles. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with basic truck and vehicle maintenance and repair
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
- Welding experience
- Valid driver’s license for operating BrightView fleet vehicles or as required by role
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor (up to 50 pounds)
- Able to use a variety of hand tools
