Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Education in aircraft avionics through programs including but not limited to A&P curriculum or other certified aircraft training programs such as military training
• •Experience ranging from apprenticeship level and above
• •OSHA training
• •Hazardous Waste Materials training
• •Demonstrated ability to use wire strippers
• •Demonstrated ability to use crimp tools
• •Demonstrated ability to use insertion/extraction tools
• •Demonstrated ability to use voltmeters

• •Ability to coordinate work with that of engineers, technicians and other aircraft maintenance personnel
• •Ability to interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems
• •Ability to install electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems in aircraft using hand tools, power tools or soldering irons
• •Ability to adjust or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies
• •Ability to connect components to assemblies such as radio systems, instruments, magnetos, inverters and in-flight refueling systems, using hand tools and soldering irons
• •Ability to assemble components such as switches, electrical controls and junction boxes using hand tools or soldering irons
• •Ability to fabricate parts and test aids as required

• •Must be able to work in combination of inside and outside with changing climate conditions
