Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain motor vehicles, construction equipment, and power systems including cranes, bulldozers, and aerial lifts. Operate heavy trucks and construction machinery, dismantle units, replace parts, and perform routine inspections using test equipment and manuals. Plan work procedures, adjust brakes and ignition systems, and execute daily walkarounds to ensure operating efficiency. Adhere to all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company training requirements while managing equipment in varied weather conditions. May relocate as work demands dictate.
Required Qualifications
- three (3) years' experience
- valid commercial driver's license
- current Medical Certification Card

- light crane certification for boom trucks etc.
- OSHA standard 29 CFT 1910 for the specific operated equipment
- Lifting and handling materials up to 60 pounds unassisted
- Walking and working across uneven terrain
- Exposure to hot and cold weather conditions
- Climbing on and off large trucks and equipment
- Trustworthy

- conversant with all safety procedures/requirements applicable to the equipment
- ability to spot or recognize potential danger areas and take evasive actions on his/her own initiative
- Must be able to operate/drive any truck, including tractor trailers
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds unassisted

- Must be able to climb on and off large trucks and equipment
- Must be able to work in hot and cold weather conditions
- Must be able to relocate as work requirements demand
Desired Qualifications
- May be required to obtain light crane certification for boom trucks etc.
- May be required to attend training classes or seminars to gather knowledge of new processes, safety regulations and/or refresher training
- May be required to relocate as work requirements demand
- May work in storm restoration operations to rebuild and/or repair damaged power systems
- May be required to obtain light crane certification for boom trucks etc.
