Job Summary
Apprentice Equipment Mechanic role focusing on inspection, maintenance, and repair of aerial work platforms and heavy-capacity telehandlers. Gain hands-on experience in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, documenting findings, and learning to operate diagnostic tools in a safety-focused repair shop. Ideal for mechanically inclined individuals currently enrolled in or recent graduates of a mechanical trade school who are eager to develop skills in a professional shop environment. Responsibilities include assisting senior mechanics, performing routine maintenance, inspecting equipment for wear and safety concerns, documenting maintenance activities, and supporting loading/unloading and staging of equipment. Required: HS diploma or GED, current enrollment in or graduation from a mechanical trade school; prior mechanical repair experience preferred. Compensation starts at $18.00–$21.50 per hour with a $150 annual work boot allowance; normally full-time with potential for part-time while in school.
