Job Summary
Lead fleet maintenance operations for Herc Rentals' heavy equipment as Mechanic A. Perform preventative maintenance, operate and test equipment, diagnose engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, propulsion, and related subsystems; conduct major repairs, oil changes, lubrication, tire and hose work, and part replacements. Enter and review work orders, order parts via the fleet management system, and produce detailed service reports. mentor and train B and C level mechanics, take service calls when the shop lead is absent, and assist in estimating customer damage repairs while adhering to branch, regional, and national procedures and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience repairing heavy equipment
