Job Summary
Maintain and repair diesel, non-diesel equipment, and trucks, including chassis components, refuse bodies, air brake systems, HVAC, and suspension, drive train, and steering systems. Diagnose malfunctions using electronic tools and perform complex repair maintenance functions on-site and on the road. Complete applicable company training programs and follow strong career paths for professional growth under direct supervision from a Lead Technician or Maintenance Manager. Work a regular afternoon shift supporting drivers on their routes while maintaining intricate machinery.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks
- Ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in some of the following heavy truck, or automotive systems: Suspensions & Steering, General Engine, Transmissions, Brakes, Electrical, Hydraulics, Drive Train, Diesel Emissions
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8)
- LNG and/or CNG experience
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License
