Job Summary
Perform diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems and execute repairs for tires, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling systems, and engine components. Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections while servicing batteries, belts, hoses, radiators, and mufflers. Maintain a track record of high personal productivity while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Requires state-specific auto repair certifications, a valid driver's license, and experience with shop equipment including lifts and scan tools. Midas offers a full-service facility environment for independent and collaborative work.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to repair vehicles independently
- Experience working well in a team environment
- Knowledge in automotive brakes
- Knowledge in automotive exhaust
- Knowledge in automotive suspension
- Knowledge in automotive engine diagnostics
- Track record of high personal productivity
- Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
- Experience using shop equipment such as lifts
- Experience using shop equipment such as tire changing equipment
- Experience using shop equipment such as alignment machines
- Experience using shop equipment such as scan tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- State-specific auto repair certifications
- Valid driver's license
- Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)
