Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic responsible for completing daily PMs, keeping production lines in good mechanical order, and assisting production/quality teams. Needs basic knowledge of General Maintenance, Hydraulic Systems, Electrical and Electronic Systems, and Welding (TIG, MIG). Must follow GMPs and safety rules (Lockout/Tagout). Duties include inspecting and testing machinery, diagnosing problems, dismantling and replacing parts, cleaning and lubricating components, and maintaining plant infrastructure in a food-manufacturing environment. Requires ability to work independently or in a team, operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), read work orders, and document daily reports. Shift: 2nd shift with starting hourly wages listed; relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of related experience and/or training in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment
- Vocational Diploma, Technical Diploma or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school (Preferred)
