Job Summary
Gills Point S is seeking a Level 2 Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles and machinery. Responsibilities include engine repair (diagnosing issues, replacing worn components such as spark plugs, belts, hoses, gaskets), engine tune-ups, cooling system maintenance (radiator, hoses, thermostat, water pump), diagnosing and repairing cooling leaks, brakes (ABS/ESC), suspension and steering, electrical/electronic systems (wiring, fuses, relays, diagnostics with scanners and multimeters), and HVAC systems (HVAC, refrigerants, A/C compressors). ASE certifications A1, A4, A5, A6, A7 are noted as non-required with company support to obtain them. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ASE certification(s) preferred or willingness to attain them, 5+ years of hands-on experience, proficiency with diagnostic equipment, valid driver's license, and strong problem-solving, attention to detail, physical stamina, and organizational skills. Required Qualifications
