Mechanic - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift

Maintenance Mechanic responsible for PMs and routine repairs on production-line machinery in a Smithfield food-manufacturing environment. Performs setup, inspection, and testing of machinery; listens for unusual sounds to diagnose issues; dismantles and replaces parts; conducts cleaning and lubrication; adheres to GMP, safety rules (Lockout/Tagout) and ISO 14001 procedures; supports production and quality teams as needed; capable of operating forklifts or other PITs and reading work orders. The role requires basic knowledge of hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems, and welding (TIG, MIG); opportunity for career growth and benefits.
