Job Summary

Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension components, and charging and electrical systems. Perform tune-ups, preventative maintenance, and routine services to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Replace specific parts including pads, rotors, calipers, shocks, struts, alternators, and batteries while maintaining repair documentation and using diagnostic equipment. Safely lift vehicles and follow shop safety procedures. Communicate professionally with customers and work collaboratively with Service Advisors. Requires 2–4 years of experience, ASE A4 and A5 certifications preferred, and a valid driver's license. Stable year-round hours with ongoing training and career advancement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of professional automotive repair experience
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning as automotive technology evolves

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
  • Automotive technical training preferred
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing: Brake systems
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing: Steering and suspension
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing: Charging systems
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing: Basic engine performance concerns
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing: Tune-ups and preventative maintenance
  • ASE Certifications A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) are preferred, or willingness to earn certifications with company support
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
