Job Summary

Experienced Mechanical Systems Design Engineer role focused on flight controls actuation design and qualification for aerospace programs. Develops and documents system design requirements, guides product design and certification via gated processes, develops test plans and configurations, analyzes test reports to validate aircraft requirements, substantiates certification with customers/regulators, investigates in-service failures and implements improvements, mentors less experienced engineers, and participates in design reviews. Role is 100% onsite at Boeing Philadelphia Design Center in Ridley Park, PA. Requires Bachelor of Science in Engineering and US Person status for export control compliance; preferred tools include DOORS, CATIA V5, ENOVIA, CAFTA, TAPE, CAMEO, MATLAB/Simulink; experience with FAA DO-178/DO-254, ARP4761; familiarity with subsystem qualification and certification processes. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 1+ years of flight controls engineering or equivalent experience
  • US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
