Job Summary
Mechatronics & Robotics Technician at JLL supports the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and may mentor junior technicians. Responsibilities include following safety procedures, performing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on MHE, maintaining positive relationships across the facility, managing department inventory, and complying with OEM and Safety standards. Requires 2+ years in repair/maintenance of MHE, and preferred associates or higher in mechanical/electrical fields; includes potential travel up to 20% and on-site work in Calgary, AB.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment
- 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
- 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
- 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance
- Ability to move up to 49lbs and stand/walk for long shifts
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- High school diploma or equivalent
