Job Summary
Dismantle, assemble, move, and align heavy rotating machinery using hoists, cranes, and precision measuring equipment. Read blueprints and technical documentation to determine work procedures, then install and maintain power generation equipment according to layout plans. Perform machining and welding operations, manage tool inventory, and prepare parts lists for purchasing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic devices. Collaborate with supervisors and operations teams to ensure reliable energy infrastructure. Work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) years' experience maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial service equipment including various pumps, motors, fans, generators, and turbines
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
Desired Qualifications
- Degree/Associate Degree in Technical Field or Gas Turbine Systems
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble complex rotating equipment – Bolting, Hydraulic Bolting, Flange Management, Small Bore Piping, Basic Rigging/Lifting, O/H Crane Operator
- Proficient in the following: mechanical/technical skills, oral communications skills, Critical Thinking
- Manage time-sensitive tasks and maintain a schedule within operationally challenging environments
- Must work well both independently and in a team environment
