Job Summary
Maintain sewing machinery under your charge by performing efficient corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure no defective machines remain pending at day's end. Execute preventive maintenance programs including oil changes, filter replacements, and packaging on sewing machines. Adhere to specific procedures for machine malfunctions, needle changes, lot changes, and oil spill manuals. Verify that all assigned machines meet safety requirements, such as eye and finger guards, band guards, and pulley protectors. Care for the integrity of machine attachments like tables, suction cups, guides, and protectors. Keep your work area and maintenance workshops orderly, clean, and ensure all assigned sewing machines are cleaned. Mark your entry and exit times for regular and overtime hours while wearing the assigned uniform. Comply with all Safety and Health at Work management system procedures per document CAM-HSN-001. Report to the Maintenance Coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- Técnico en Mantenimiento industrial, electrónico o electricidad
- Conocimiento en mecánica básica o general
- Conocimiento básico en electricidad
- Conocimiento básico de medición
- Conocimiento básico de motores electrónicos
- Conocimiento en máquina de costura en los diferentes modelos
