Job Summary
Industrial mechanic role in Mont-Joli, QC for GFL’s Team Green. Responsible for diagnosing mechanical problems, planning repairs, performing maintenance and preventive maintenance on equipment, adhering to health and safety standards, keeping the work area clean, and providing daily activity reports. Requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in machinery maintenance or diesel repair, good manual dexterity, autonomy, and a safety-conscious attitude. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, with comprehensive group insurance and a registered retirement plan; temporary-to-permanent growth opportunities within a safety- and sustainability-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance and repair of machinery or diesel engines
- Demonstrates good manual dexterity
- Ability to work autonomously, be resourceful and work efficiently and safely
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Maintain clean work area and provide daily work reports as required
