Job Summary
Prepares meat products by weighing, wrapping and labeling; ensures market and seafood display cases are kept full, rotated, and fresh with prepackaged meats; promotes customer service. Inspects product for freshness by judging texture, color, and aroma; adheres to quality control and food safety standards; operates a pallet jack and calibrated scales; stocks and rotates products and maintains clean, safe work area; provides friendly customer service, answers questions, and fulfills requests. Must be able to read/detect labeling and signage, work flexible hours including nights/weekends/holidays, and meet age requirements. Requires Food Handler certification and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently (up to 40 lbs frequently depending on task).
