Job Summary
Meat Specialist responsible for shared ownership of budgeted sales and profitability across Meat Departments in multiple store locations, supervising and mentoring department staff, implementing safety, sanitation, training, pricing, merchandising, inventory controls, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Must analyze performance metrics, collaborate with District Managers and Store Managers, and support hiring, training, and labor setup for Meat Departments. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of meat management experience, leadership experience in grocery/retail meat operations, and strong communication skills. Overnight travel may be required; role is full-time within the Meat Department.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in grocery/retail meat department
- Strong knowledge of Meat Department Operations, including safety and sanitation protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 2 Years Meat Management Experience
- Education: High School Graduate or GED
