Job Summary
Retrieve and transport products from coolers and storage areas to production lines to ensure adequate inventory is available. Accurately reconcile inventory and production transactions within the AS400 system, maintaining detailed records of movements, adjustments, and usage. Monitor inventory levels and product age to support proper rotation and minimize waste while conducting daily verifications. Investigate discrepancies through physical verification and system research, communicating shortages to management. Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure operational efficiency and food safety compliance. Perform other duties as assigned in this manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to company-established weight limits
- Ability to work in refrigerated or cooler environments as required
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, production support, or manufacturing environments
- Experience using inventory management systems, ERP software, or AS400
- Food manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of inventory control principles and inventory reconciliation practices
- Ability to accurately process and maintain inventory transactions within computer systems
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and identify corrective actions
