Job Summary
Meijer Meat Seafood Team Leader responsible for planning, directing and supervising Meat and Seafood department team members; mentor and coach staff; implement strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales; manage staffing via interviews, train Meat team members to build a high-performance team, write and manage Meat scheduling, ensure Real Time Apply and pricing accuracy, uphold sanitation and safety procedures, control inventory shrinkage through BOH and rotation guidelines, and complete MITS tasks in a timely manner. The role emphasizes leadership, accountability for financial performance in the Meat/Seafood departments, and ongoing development opportunities within Meijer’s store environment.
