Job Summary
Greet guests, engage in active product discussions, and provide recommendations for meats, seafood, and cooking methods. Break down packages, slice items, clean crabs, and wrap products as requested while maintaining accurate pricing and stock rotation. Operate slicers, scales, vacuum pack machines, and com-line equipment safely. Set cases, pull dated product, and ensure all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed. Complete assigned tasks including ordering bulk product, preparing meals in minutes, and participating in the department's accident reduction plan. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and mentor new associates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid State Food Handlers Permit
- Valid Driver's License or State I.D. Card
- Meets the state minimum requirement to work with slicers or other Seafood/Meat equipment and tools
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to walk

- Must be able to communicate clearly
