Meat Sales Associate

Stock meat department cases and rotate products to meet customer demand while ensuring all items are fresh, properly priced, and free of spoilage. Greet customers, answer questions about cuts and preparation, take delivery orders, and resolve concerns promptly. Set up displays, maintain logs for freshness, and adhere to food safety codes during sanitation and cleaning. Weigh and wrap merchandise, apply correct pricing stickers, and handle spoiled or damaged goods per company procedures. Assist with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries using power or hand jacks if trained, and help minimize shrink and control damages. Report shortages or overages to the manager and utilize provided personal protective equipment.
