Meat Sales Associate

Stock meat department cases and rotate products to meet demand while greeting customers, answering product questions, and taking delivery orders. Resolve customer concerns, set up displays, and ensure all meat remains fresh with proper pricing and signage. Handle spoiled or damaged items, grind and cut meats, and weigh merchandise with correct pricing stickers. Maintain necessary logs, adhere to food safety codes, and follow cleaning schedules to keep work areas sanitary. Dispose of trash, empty bone cans, and report shortages or overages to the manager. Assist with receiving deliveries, unloading via power jack, and storing stock if properly trained.
