Job Summary
Meat Manager needed at New Horizon Co-op’s Downtown Food store in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Manage the Meat Department daily: schedule team members, order, receive, merchandise, and price products; train and lead department staff; drive sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and shrinkage control; ensure health and safety compliance; conduct performance reviews and development plans for team members. Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills required; prior Retail Supervisory/Manager experience in a butcher/meat cutting environment; capable of lifting up to 50lbs; High School Diploma; flexible schedule with up to 50 hours per week. Required Qualifications
- Previous experience leading a team in a butcher/meat cutting environment
- Retail Supervisory/Manager experience is required

- Able to work up to 50 hours weekly
