Job Summary
Meat Helper supports the Meat department at Food City with customer-first service, stocking, proper product rotation, weight verification, and light cutting duties. Responsibilities include greeting customers, ensuring products in self-service are correctly packaged with weights and measures, following the Food Safety program, maintaining clean display cases and workstations, assisting with receiving/ordering processed meats, keeping pricing accurate, and maintaining organization and sanitation of display areas. Must be able to work on-site, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with the team to create a positive, friendly store atmosphere. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
