Job Summary
Meat Helper in Food City’s Prestonsburg, KY, part-time role in the meat department. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers with a friendly, customer-first attitude; ensuring self-service products are properly packaged with correct weights and ingredients; following the Food Safety program; stocking and rotating products; organizing coolers; performing light cutting; receiving/ordering processed meats; maintaining correct pricing; keeping display cases neat and clean; ensuring proper date codes on products; maintaining sanitation of the department at least twice daily; and attending on-site shifts to comply with time and attendance policies. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
