Job Summary
Provide courteous customer service in a Food City setting, greet and speak to customers, and support a customer-first initiative. Assist in stocking, rotation of products, and light cutting; ensure self-service packaging is correct in weight and packaging; follow Food Safety program; maintain neat display cases and proper code dates; assist in receiving orders, ensure accurate pricing of processed meats, and keep work area clean. Participate in sanitation efforts (twice daily) and attend on-site shifts to comply with time/attendance policies. Emphasize teamwork and a positive, friendly work atmosphere aligned with the company mission to run the best store in town.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- perform routine and repetitive tasks
- constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
