Job Summary
Meat Helper at Food City responsible for providing friendly customer service, stocking and rotating products, ensuring proper packaging and weights for self-service items, following Food Safety programs, maintaining neat displays, pricing of processed meats, and supporting on-site operations during scheduled shifts. Responsibilities include assisting with receiving/ordering of processed meats, maintaining code dates, sanitation of the department, and contributing to a positive, customer-first environment through teamwork and flexible, friendly interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- perform routine and repetitive tasks
- constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
