Job Summary
Meat Helper supports customer service and operations in Food City's meat department. Responsibilities include greeting customers, providing prompt and courteous service, ensuring proper packaging and weights for self-serve products, following the Food Safety program, stocking and rotating products, organizing cooler displays, light cutting, receiving/ordering processed meats, maintaining correct pricing, keeping display areas clean, monitoring product dates, and maintaining sanitation. The role emphasizes a positive, friendly work environment and adherence to shift schedules. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
- Experience in retail or meat department is a plus
