Job Summary
Meat Helper assists in stocking and organizing the meat department, maintains correct pricing and dates, performs light cutting, assists with receiving/ordering processed meats, ensures packaging meets weights and regulatory standards, keeps display cases neat, and follows Food Safety programs. The role emphasizes customer service, a friendly and team-focused environment, and adherence to on-site attendance policies, with responsibilities including maintaining product freshness, proper labeling, and sanitation of the department.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
