Job Summary
Meat Helper provides courteous customer service and supports the meat department with stocking, product rotation, light cutting, and attention to food safety. Responsibilities include ensuring self-service products are properly packaged with correct weights and measures, maintaining correct pricing for processed meats, organizing display cases, keeping workstations clean, sanitizing the department at least twice daily, and assisting receiving/ordering of processed meats. Requires on-site availability for scheduled shifts and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, with emphasis on a positive, friendly, and team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
