Job Summary
Meat Helper at Food City assists customers in the meat department, ensures proper packaging and labeling with correct weights/ingredients, supports stocking and rotation of products, maintains food safety compliance, helps organize coolers and displays, performs light cutting and packaging tasks, assists with receiving/ordering processed meats, maintains accurate pricing and appearance of display cases, and participates in maintaining a clean, sanitized work area. The role emphasizes friendly, customer-first service and on-site attendance during scheduled shifts, with opportunities to contribute to a positive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
