Job Summary
Meat Helper responsible for delivering courteous, customer-first service in the meat department and supporting the store’s mission to Run the Best Store in Town. Key duties include greeting customers, ensuring proper packaging and weights for self-serve products, following food safety procedures, stocking and rotating products, organizing coolers, assisting with light cutting, receiving/ordering processed meats, maintaining accurate pricing and neat display areas, and keeping workstations clean and sanitized. The role emphasizes teamwork, a positive work environment, on-site attendance, and adherence to company policies. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
