Job Summary
Meat Helper supports customer service and merchandising tasks in a Food City meat department environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, providing prompt and courteous service, ensuring proper packaging and weights for self-service products, following food safety procedures, stocking and rotating products, organizing coolers, light cutting, receiving/ordering processed meats, maintaining correct display pricing and dates, keeping workstations neat, and assisting with sanitation and schedule adherence. Emphasizes a positive, teamwork-driven, customer-first atmosphere and participation in company benefits and culture.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
