Job Summary
Meat Helper assists in stocking and rotating processed meats, maintains proper packaging and weights, ensures food safety compliance, maintains display cases and pricing accuracy, and provides courteous customer service in a fast-paced grocery environment. Responsibilities include light cutting work, receiving/ordering meats, keeping the workstation neat and sanitary, following the department’s sanitation schedule, and supporting a friendly, team-focused store atmosphere. Requires on-site attendance for scheduled shifts and ability to meet physical/mental/visual demands; benefits include 401(k) with company match, employee stock ownership plan, and comprehensive health/dental plans.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
